As followers of Jesus, we give in response to God’s grace, not out of obligation but as an act of worship. Scripture says, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). Grace-giving is generous, willing, and motivated by love (2 Corinthians 8:2–8).
At Northside, giving is a way to participate in God’s work through the church. We don’t pass a plate or pressure anyone; instead, we teach biblical generosity and trust God to guide each heart. As we give faithfully and joyfully, lives are changed, needs are met, and the love of Christ reaches our community and beyond.
Thank you for partnering with us in what God is doing at Northside.

We believe that Jesus calls us to radical generosity, so we give out of the gladness of our hearts.
For the fiscal year of July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, our budget is $1.62 million. Every dollar comes from the faithful and generous giving of our church family. Though gifts are given year-round, about 30% of our annual giving usually comes in during the fourth quarter.
We maintain a reserve account to cover three months of operating expenses, ensuring stability for our ongoing ministries. Additionally, we have reserves set aside for repairs and maintenance, helping care for our facilities as needs arise.
Our fiscal year ends June 30, and each spring we begin the budgeting process. Every ministry and department reviews the current year and envisions the year ahead. Once drafted, budgets are reviewed by the Elders and ultimately approved by the Board of Directors.
The most helpful way to give is through recurring donations—automatic gifts set up at whatever frequency you prefer—which allow us to plan ahead and steward our resources wisely. Of course, one-time gifts are also welcome and appreciated. You can give easily through our online giving platform and set up recurring giving, in person on Sundays, or by mail.
