“Your kingdom come, Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.”
We long to see that prayer answered in our time — through acts of compassion, the sharing of the gospel, and the making of disciples in every nation. We partner with local and global organizations and missionaries investing our time, talents, and finances to bring light, hope, and truth to the world.

Looking for opportunities to serve in our community? Whether it’s you, your family, friends, or small group, we’d love to help you get connected with local outreach opportunities and our community mission partners. Isaiah 117 House provides a safe, welcoming space for children awaiting placement within the foster care system. Volunteers offer clean clothes, warm meals, and comforting care while child welfare staff complete the placement process. Their mission is to reduce trauma for children awaiting placement, support child welfare workers, and ease the transition for foster families — reflecting God’s heart for the vulnerable in every moment.
We love partnering with Isaiah 117 House because their ministry embodies the compassion of Christ — offering dignity, comfort, and hope to children in crisis, and shining the light of Jesus in one of life’s most difficult moments.

Eternal Family Project is a Christ-centered home for girls who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Not an orphanage or a foster home, but a true family — offering education, healthcare, emotional and spiritual support, and a foundation for lifelong transformation. By nurturing each girl’s identity and potential, EFP empowers them to break cycles of poverty and build strong, faith-filled futures.
We’ve had the privilege, over the years, of seeing the lasting impact of Eternal Family Project, as many from the EFP family have experienced true healing and went on to attend universities in Honduras and the U.S., breaking the cycle of poverty they were born into and walking in the plans that God has for them.

In college, John and Erin sensed the Lord calling them to lives devoted to missions and relational evangelism. After graduation, they relocated to serve with an outdoor ministry team and were married in 2007. While working day jobs in graphic design, marketing, and outdoor recreation, they continued to open their home on evenings and weekends for ministry and discipleship.
In the summer of 2009, after participating in a short-term mission trip, John and Erin knew God was redirecting their lives to return to the Czech Republic to serve full-time with Josiah Venture’s international communications team. John now serves as the Assistant Communications Director and UX Design Director for digital products, while Erin serves in digital marketing. Their family currently lives and works in Bratislava, Slovakia, where they continue to support a growing movement of God among the next generation in Central and Eastern Europe.

Hung and his family fled from war-torn South Vietnam in 1975 and were sponsored by a church in Chattanooga, TN, where they began a new life in the United States. He and his wife Angela have been married for 27 years and have three children—Caleb, Brooke, and Jericho.
For 25 years, Hung and Angela served with the high school ministry of Cru, investing deeply in the lives of students and leaders. Today, Hung serves as the Executive Director of Parable in Los Angeles. Their passion is to bring the love and truth of Jesus to teenagers throughout their city and around the world. Their family embraces the beautiful messiness of ministry and loves sharing life with the staff, college students, and teens they have the privilege of serving and leading.

Casey met and fell in love with Jesus in 2005 at the age of 24 and got involved in the high school ministry right away. His heart broke over the lostness and desperation of teens and the realization that if we lose this generation, then we lose our future! He has been blessed to minister to so many teens and share the truths of Scripture individually and in groups of all sizes.
Casey has been serving on staff with Cru and now Parable since 2010. His passion is to help lost students find Jesus and experience new life in Him, to build them in their faith while addressing the brokenness in all areas of their lives, and then to mobilize them to reach others in their schools, families, and community.

Brandon grew up in Birmingham, AL, with his mother, grandmother, and sister. In college, he met Jesus, and his life was radically changed. Jesus started to show him that He loved and cared for him despite his mistakes, fears, and doubts.
After graduation, Brandon worked for 6 years as an engineer for Roper Corporation in Lafayette, GA, making stoves and other appliances. On a trip to California, he saw how God was changing the lives of teenagers through a ministry called Cru High School. God began to stir a burden in his heart for the teens, and after a few months of prayer, God led him to move to Southern California to get involved in the lives of high school students. After 5 years of ministry, Brandon felt the Lord call him to join the Parable staff team.

Caleb has experienced the love of Jesus since childhood in Chattanooga, TN, and accepted Him into his life at an early age. When he was 13, his family relocated to Southern California to launch Cru’s High School Ministry.
Growing up immersed in his parents’ ministry, Caleb witnessed the gospel’s transformative power firsthand, inspiring him to empower and disciple the next generation. Now at Parable, Caleb is thrilled to participate in God’s work among youth in Los Angeles. His mission is to help reach teenagers with the love of Jesus.

Nanette is passionate about seeing the Deaf community encounter the love and truth of Jesus. As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), she has been uniquely equipped by God to serve as an interpreter for the Deaf, both at Northside and in the local community. Her heart is to help bridge the gap between the Deaf and hearing worlds—making the gospel accessible to those who are often overlooked or isolated from it.
The global Deaf community is considered one of the largest unreached people groups in the world, not because of resistance to the gospel, but because of barriers to access and inclusion. Nanette’s ministry seeks to change that. Through interpreting, relationship building, and sharing Christ’s love in tangible ways, she is working to see the Deaf community in our region and beyond come to know Jesus personally.
Nanette lives in Hixson, TN with her husband, Justin, and daughter.
